ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

June 4, 1986

The way you wear your hat, the way you sip your tea, the memory of all that, no, no, they can't take that away from me. Michael surprised Donna in her bedroom yet again.

Nancy kept strict account of all funds from the Corys and reimbursed them $27 (out of $187.12). They protested, she insisted.

Larry and MJ investigated seaplanes. She bullied a guy.

Cass hallucinated. He carried on conversations with a mirage of Kathleen floating on the water. Gave him a very hard time. He said the tuxedo woman had threatened to hurt her if he didn't come. His throat is parched. She suggested he drink his surroundings. Too late he realized it was salt. She evaporated. He realized it had been a mirage. He resigned himself to his fate and cursed Cecile violently.

Larry tried to placate the guy. He looked up the plane. They discovered the seaplane hadn't followed its flight plan. They had him check out the registration.

Donna teased Michael about breaking down her doors and climbing her trellis (all men after Love women do this. It's a law.) He attacked her (gently but not exactly subtly). She challenged him to tell her what he'd been thinking when he climbed up to her room. He kind of hedged. She told him he couldn't recapture his past and she'd hoped they'd moved forward. He said he wasn't sure yet. Peter barged in. Donna was flustered and fled. Michael talked to Peter about the baby. There was noticeable lack of enthusiasm in Peter's corner. Donna said she and Peter had business at the courthouse. Exit Michael.

Nancy's upset because of Marley and Jake. She's calmish today. She went to see Tom and drop off a gift for Britt. The Corys are glad to see her facing her problems.

The seaplane is registered to the Loves.

Donna agreed reluctantly to see Larry at the hospital.

Cecile says Cass has no consideration, running away when she needs him the very most. She told Gloria that Cass had only become involved with Kathleen because he thought she resembled her. They set out in a boat of their own.

If you say my eyes are beautiful. Cass worried about never seeing Kathleen again. He scratched a message on her ring box attempting to explain himself. She appeared again. He told her she was a hallucination and he didn't have time to talk. He told her about the message saying he loved her and hadn't given in to Cecile. He refused to kiss her because she wasn't real, although he assured her no offense was meant. She assured him she loved him and had never doubted him. She disappeared.

Chris assured Brittany he hadn't heard her say anything. Enter Nancy. Exit Chris saying he'd see her at Mary's Place. Britt said she wanted to be happy with the baby and the father.

Chris told Donna he wouldn't testify to Brittany's ravings. He refused to be browbeaten. Nancy pursued him. Peter arrived. Larry took a second of their time to chat about their plane. They said they had never owned a plane and went in to see Britt. He told Britt he had set up a trust fund and tax shelter for the baby. Donna dripped with disapproval. Peter asked her to sign some papers. She would have read them but Donna insisted on letting her know how she felt about Peter Reginald having vast sums of money. Peter opposed her and Brittany ordered her out. Donna threatened to stop it herself. She stayed when he threatened to disown her if she left.

Rachel feels sorry for Brittany, married to Peter, and calling for Catlin, and Donna on her back. She considered telling Michael about Donna. Mac advised against it. Michael arrived for an appointment with Mac. Mac reminded Rachel of Nancy.

Cecile's crew spotted Cass.

Mac tried to get rid of Rachel but she stood around recounting a story of Rupert the Cat in a tree (she'd stormed at Michael to rescue it and all he'd said was "Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?" She'd kicked him in the shins and climbed the tree herself. The cat ran away). Rachel stayed for a chat about a private lakefront property. Michael agreed to buy it. Rachel steered the conversation around to Donna. Michael said she'd changed because of her horrible father.

Donna said if Britt signed the papers now there would be no turning back and couldn't it wait a year? Brittany snatched the pen and signed 5 pages. Donna said Peter would regret it. Brittany finished and said she and the baby were set for life and Donna couldn't hurt them anymore. Out of earshot Peter and Donna rejoiced because their little scheme had worked. She's set for life but she doesn't know how yet. Daddy would have been proud.

Larry told MJ he was certain the Loves didn't own the plane.

Cecile caught up with an unconscious Cass.

Chris told Nancy about his confrontation with Donna but refused to divulge the information he wouldn't tell Donna. A call came for Neal from Victoria and Nancy told her Neal wasn't there. A strange man took notice. Nancy told Chris the new Nancy was too good for Neal.

The foreign woman (Mathilde) called Gloria to tell her she'd found the apartment just as Cecile planned it. She said everything was working perfectly and she'd be writing a letter to Kathleen soon.

Cecile told Cass if he was dead she'd never speak to him again.
