ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 3, 1986

Scott told Ada he thought he should have help with the delivery of the food. She agreed.

Michael met with a reporter named Miss McGee. She said he was politer than she'd expected, having heard that he was a tough cookie. He said he was. She suggested they see how the cookie crumbles.

Mary had a nightmare about her various husbands and their attitudes.

Reginald prepared to shoot skeets. Donna remembered his threats against Michael last night and cried, "NO. DON'T DO IT." She struggled with him. Peter hauled her off him and attempted to reassure her. She asked to speak to daddy alone. She promised him she'd make Michael go away and then he'd have no reason to kill him. He ignored her.

Miss McGee interrogated Michael. He didn't like her questions. He's doing this for her publisher, his good friend.

Scott's car and Ada's car are both in the shop. Aunt Selma to the rescue.

Kathleen and Cass have taken Mary in. Mary wants to try to make Vince understand herself.

Donna crawled after daddy, pleading with him. She told him she'd make Michael hate her and get him out of the stables. "Whatever you say, darling," her father said soothingly. Ick.

Michael refused to answer any more of Miss McGee's questions. She asked about his involvement with Donna Love. She accused him of promising to marry every woman he slept with. He told her during those 20 years away from her he realized she was the only one for him. Apart from that, NO COMMENT. Exit Michael.

Great-aunt Selma's old car is providing transportation. Cheryl told her [Ada] MJ had said it would be OK for her to skip school. Ada said they could ride around for a bit.

Letty promised to provide names in exchange for her freedom. MJ said she couldn't make any promises herself. Enter Peggy Lazarus, DA. She said she was in charge of making promises.

Mary kicked herself for having trusted Reginald. She told Kathleen that she had gone to see a specialist after being unable to conceive. The specialist told her that the accident had rendered her sterile, but he could tell she'd had a child before. She rushed home to ask Reginald what had become of it. He told her that it died in her automobile accident and he hadn't told her to protect her from the grief. Reginald adopted Scott to make her happy. She loves Scott.

Scott and Cheryl drove along.

Brittany accused Peter of being behind the rattlesnake. He told her if he wanted to kill her he'd be more direct, and all the evidence was hearsay and circumstantial. They didn't shoot each other. Felicia is attending this shoot. She bugged him [Reginald] about pretending nothing had happened although his wife left him last night. He showed her the tree he had planted when his son was born. He stepped on a Mary's hand plant by accident and seemed to find the action symbolic and affecting. Felicia was surprised.

Scott and Cheryl drove along. They dropped off the pastries and made a run for it. They had a picnic lunch in the woods and played in the leaves.

Peter confided in Donna. He told her he loved his son and he knew Brittany was unhappy but he couldn't let her go. He keeps hoping things will work out for them. He said they could be happy if she could learn to love him again. Donna said she didn't like shooting and she felt ill so she wouldn't come to the shoot.

Scott and Cheryl overheard Peter and Donna talking. They thought Peter's story was sad.

Mac and Rachel and Michael and Victoria stood around at the skeet shoot. Victoria is skipping off work to make her grandfather happy. She toasted him for showing her that rich people could have fun too. Michael fumed. Donna told Michael to be careful around all the guns. The shoot got underway.

Scott and Cheryl held hands and walked through the woods.

Letty produced the name Napoleon. The guy at the top. The DA dropped all charges against her. MJ said Letty should have protection. Lazarus told her not to worry.

Woodwalk. Scott and Cheryl got in Aunt Selma and motored along.

Mary waited for Vince to show up in agony. He came. She told him she'd left Reginald. He said that didn't change anything. She said she didn't blame him for hating her but she wanted to be involved with her children. She asked his permission to attend Kathleen's wedding.

Cheryl lost control of the car.

Rachel was eliminated. So was Felicia. So was Victoria. (She blamed Michael because he advised her to aim a little higher.) Michael, Reginald, Peter, and Brittany are left. Reginald went to take his turn. Michael told him he would eat dirt, just as he did when his woman had left him last night. That Old Carrot shot and killed a skeet.
