Michael told Donna he'd been really taken with Mikey. Vicky barged in eager to talk about the wedding. Her parents cheered up.
Rachel took a lot of the weight of Cory from Mac's shoulders. Mac was pleased. He confessed he was afraid they knew the enemy.
Nicole was upset. Cass told her she was overreacting. She's taking his defection personally. He told her it wasn't a defection and it wasn't personal. She accused him of being bored with her company. She accused him of being jealous. He told her Mac needed him. Drew dropped by.
Mac said there was a leak. Rachel said she'd take care of everything else. She said Matthew was being difficult. Mac said he was probably behind the takeover attempt. Kevin phoned and would leave no message other than to have Matthew phone him. He sounded odd. He didn't tell Rachel his room had been trashed.
Vicky told Michael he had to assemble groomsmen. He asked if she had discouraged John. Donna admitted she had. Michael scowled. Donna apologized. She said he should ask John back. He decided against it. Donna suggested he ask Cass back. Vicky said Jamie would be perfect. Michael disapproved of her reasons and spoke sternly about pursuing attached men. Then he said "oh, what the heck, it's only a wedding," and admitted he had already asked Jamie for the right reasons. [Poor Adam.]
Drew had an idea for launching Nicole in Europe. Cass and Nicole fought. Drew is prepared to be a business partner. Cass rushed off. Drew asked Nicole to dinner.
A nurse unplugged Sam. He winced. Jamie told him there was a small blood clot behind his optic nerve but it was going away. Sam told him not to worry Amanda. Amanda dropped in, closely followed by Rachel. Jamie got a little giddy. Rachel brought art supplies. She told Sam not to worry about money. Everyone told Amanda to rest.
Donna told Michael she wanted to get married at the dead baby tree. He was touched. They were disappointed Marley couldn't come. Michael insisted on being allowed to talk to Vicky alone. Donna left. Michael told Victoria he was concerned lest she get hurt. He said John was concerned. Vicky said John wanted to get back at her. Michael said there would be no more discussion concerning Donna and John. Vicky got away.
Rachel gave Matthew Kevin's message. He wasn't receptive to anything else. He went to phone. Mac and Rachel sighed.
Cass broke into a room somewhere. It looked suspiciously like the Romance to me. Cass tried to look casual when Drew walked in. It's Drew's hotel room.
Donna told Nicole Jamie was going to be best man. Nicole said she didn't care because Cass had deserted her. Donna assured her he'd return. She advised her not to encourage Drew.
Sam brooded. Amanda brought him a hamburger and a photo of the two of them. She got in bed with him. Kissing.
Michael begged Jamie. He said he could bring Lisa.
Vicky went to John's and yelled at him for trying to get back at her. She told him to stay out of her life and left. Michael came by to chat. John was surprised Donna had told him she had spoken to him. He told Michael about Victoria's visit.
Victoria told Nicole she had a surprise planned for Michael and Donna and needed something designed.
Cass and Drew quarreled. Drew told Cass he could have him arrested. Cass: maybe I'll be able to say the same to you someday. Drew told Cass Nicole had said she couldn't work with him any more because of his smarmy business practices. Cass didn't believe him. Drew answered the phone. Cass pocketed a letter and crept out.
Cass told Nicole he didn't trust Drew. She said she didn't care. They fought. She suggested he get out of her life and stomped upstairs. Mac came by and Cass showed him the letter he'd taken from Drew's room.
Vicky daydreamed that Jamie discovered a vaccine for everything and was up for a Nobel Prize [but too noble to want the glory more than the satisfaction of saving lives] and that he attributed his success to his lovely wife Victoria who meant everything to him and kept him going even when things seemed darkest. He thanked God Lisa had left town when she did and kissed Vicky passionately in front of a crowd of reporters. Jamie brought her out of it to tell her he was going to be Michael's best man.
Amanda assured Rachel everything would be all right. Rachel decided it might be good to get Matthew off her hands for a while.
Sam blinked a lot and stared at the photo Amanda had given him. It looked blurry. He looked on the verge of tears.
