Felicia feels like a jerk.
Daniel sounds like a chipmunk anyway. He is being very annoying asking Sally all kinds of questions about Catlin and refusing to let the subject drop when he sees it upsets her.
Marley asked Jake if she should get the phone. He said they weren't putting off their wedding. Marley got it because it could be Mac with Carl's body. Dee broke the news about Donna.
Donna and Victoria plotted gleefully. The attack WAS faked.
Felicia stomped on her own head repeatedly. Her warped logic caused them [Felicia and Zane] to have a big fight ending in her stomping out and his saying maybe this wasn't working out.
Daniel begged to be confided in. Sally told him seeing her family made her miss them more and she wished she hadn't gone. He has a plan to cheer her up.
Larry is busy trying to piece together Daphne's murder. Catlin is not attending wholeheartedly. Cory came in and asked Larry to open a jar for him [TOMB DUST?].
Felicia went to Edouard to his celebrate their anniversary. They drank champagne and toasted to old times. Edouard didn't get the part. This is going to be a special night. They quoted a strange and incomprehensible poem. He said he had something for her. SNAP of a ring box.
Larry turned the jar over to Catlin who said it looked familiar. After much thought and interrogation of Clarice ["was it in a box?"] he identified it as Kevin's present for Sally. They didn't open it. Catlin asked Clarice to drop it at Liz's. Left alone he was treated to a Get the Wife Back, She's One In A Million speech from Larry. He went Out, being disinclined to discuss it.
Marley told Jake she had to go back. He is suspicious of Victoria and Donna but Marley trusts Dee. Jake called the Loves when Marley went to change. Bridget told him all was well. Victoria dashed in and told Jake all about it. He's still suspicious. She asked after Marley's health and sleeping accommodations. He changed the subject. He said they were coming back in Mac's jet. Bridget demanded the truth of Victoria.
Felicia was overwhelmed and blathered on about coincidences. She made very certain that he was asking her to marry him. He told her they loved each other and 16 years was too long to ignore. He said nothing would stand in their way this time.
Sally thought about Catlin's fatherly instincts and then the DON'T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN scene. Daniel bounded in with tacos. She said she wasn't hungry. He told her to eat. He then said if that didn't cheer her up he had something very special for her and Catlin. He apologized for what he'd said about Catlin. He's given her architectural things for improvement of the cabin, with, like, NURSERIES and greenhouses. She fell apart. He was alarmed.
Catlin found Zane in a bar. They sat about drinking together. Catlin complained about Brittany. Zane on Bay City: "sometimes I think Bay City must be made of quicksand. Steppin' in — 's easy. But getting back out's another story entirely." Zane and Catlin both are aware that Britt is a serious pain and screws things up without meaning to. Except Catlin thinks she means to. Zane told him he'd have to watch out in that case. Catlin intends to steer clear. Zane refused another drink and left.
Clarice and Larry discussed the little brother's problems. They want Catlin and Sally to get back together. This degenerated into a reconciliation. [I assume. Nobody talked much.]
Victoria stuck to her version of the truth. Bridget told her she couldn't keep Marley and Jake apart forever like this. She asked if the lies were worth it. Vic said they were. Bridget declared that Jake was probably better off with Marley. Victoria thought about Jake's departure for Arizona.
A friendly woman noticed Catlin and stopped for a chat. She asked if she could sit with him to ward off habitual wolves. Her name is Janet. She asked if he liked to dance. He gave her a quarter for the jukebox, paid for the drinks and left. Sounds like a wolf said "hi honey."
Sally told Daniel about the breakup [she said nothing about the whys and wherefores]. He was covered in confusion and gathered up the plans to slink off.
I don't know what Edouard and Felicia have been up to but she did return the ring. He gave it to her other hand. Kissing.
Donna: now I want one of those wristbands on my arm with a name tag on it like everybody else has here and I want a chart on the end of the bed. Doctor: a chart? Donna: yes, you know, with all the medical stuff on it. And I want an IV. Doctor: an IV? With what in it? Donna: I don't know, whatever you want to put in it. We're not really going to hook it up, we just want it to look that way. Doctor: what for? Donna: well, for EFFECT, obviously. Doctor: this is HIGHLY unethical. Donna: would you rather be highly unemployed? Doctor: better than losing my license.
Jake and Marley have to go. He tried to make her feel better by saying he wouldn't have been able to carry her over the threshold his shoulder being what it is so this is a good thing. She's afraid they'll be split up. He reassured her. They vowed nothing would keep them apart. He said he loved her. They left.
Wind is whistling around somewhere. Is it Catlin?
