Sea Hunt aired on January 1958 and last aired on September 1961. Sea Hunt featured Lloyd Bridges who played Mike Nelson, a sea-faring adventurer who helps out law-enforcement officials, the Coast Guard, the Navy and the Government in tracking down criminals and submersible subversives. The boat was called the 'Argonaut' and, with the ocean floor, served as the salty setting for the show. "Out of the night when the full moon is bright comes the horseman known as Zorro." (lyrics from the theme song "Zorro"). Zorro first premiered on October 9, 1957. It was produced by Walt Disney and distributed through the ABC television network. Actor Guy Williams played a dual role: that of Zorro and his foppish alter ego Don Diego who was a masked outlaw that battled all enemies of justice and who protected the innocent in Spanish California. The Beachcombers is a Canadian produced drama. It aired on October 1, 1972 and last aired on April 1990 making it the longest running television series in Canadian history. This family-oriented program has appeared in 31 countries and 5 languages. The show's synopsis evolves around Nick Adonidas, a middle-aged beachcomber who journey's through the exploits of the British Columbia coastline.
