Just as there are investments that any Christian can feen comfortable with, there are many financial advisors whose purpose is to include Christian principles in the advice they give.
The Canadian National Christian Foundation has been formed to link such advisors in a common brotherhood for mutual training and support.
Luke 2:48 - "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."
The blue phrase above applies to us as advisors. We are pastors of finance.
We have the opportunity to encourage our clients to give generously, particularly if they have reached a level of financial security. We need to help our clients see giving as an opportunity.
We need to set our own "finish line" as far as wealth creation is concerned, and we need to encourage our Christian clinets to set theirs. The finish line is the point where no spiritual benefit or even worldly benefit would be served by additional striving for wealth. Instead, by ceasing to strive, the additional rewards that should be distributed to mission and to those less fortunate will actually continue to increase.
