Internet Terms
Using and spelling Internet terms is easier after a few decades, but when this page was created, that was not the case. Common usage has changed some terms to lower case or removed hypens and spaces (Web site and website). Here it is anyway:

- World Wide Web
- website (or web site), Web, site
- email noun;(electronic mail) and verb (I emailed you.)
- webmaster, webcam, webzine
- 2 words: home page, end user
- 1 word: upload, download, printout, bookmark
- online (on-line has fallen out of favour)
- dial-up or dialup
- user-friendly
- log on, log-on, log in, log-in or login
- URL (Uniform Resource Locator) i.e. http://www.patdrummond.org
- FTP (File Transfer Protocol), FTP files to your website
