ACC Ottawa Climbing Camp - 2026

Bill Barrett again organized two back to back weeks in the Canadian Rockies for the summer of 2026. Katharina and
I attended the second week climbing camp based out of the ACC Canmore clubhouse, heading out on day trips
focussing on multi-pitch alpine sport. We arrived a day early and visited our good friend Tana up at Shadow Lake Lodge
before meeting up for the group event.
- Day 0 - Shadow Lake Lodge
- Day 1 - Little Copper Hike
- Day 2 - Cragging at Wasootch Slabs
- Day 3 - Mini Hapa (4 ptiches, 5.4) and Back to Batoche (4 pitches, 5.6)
at Cascade Falls
- Day 4 - Raiders of the Lost Arch (4 pitches, 5.5) and Raiders Canyon
(6 rappels) on Mount McGillivray
- Day 5 - Aftonroe (9 pitches, 5.7) on Mount Cory
- Day 6 - More Cowbell (10 pitches, 5.7) on Wasootch Peak
- Day 7 - Mini Hapa (4 pitches, 5.4) and Keeping it Riel (4 pitches, 5.6)
