Welcome to the Home page of Viscount Avenue.

Viscount Avenue is a residential street in the Carlington community in the City of Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Viscount Avenue has its origins as a new residential street in the post war housing developement in Carlington known as the "Veteran Housing", or more commonly referred to as the "Vets" homes.

Viscount Avenue is a partial crescent street layout the starts at the Merivale Road in the west, and it gently curves to the north-west where it joins Carling Avenue.

The Vet homes were built on the former J.R. Booth Lumber yards, and on a major portion of the former Stevenson Farm. Historic Aerial Photographs from pre 1945 show that there was a gently curving crescent shaped farm road in the general area of what is now Viscount Avenue.

More to come...

Modern issues:

- High traffic flow.
- Speeding vehicles
- Break and entering into Vehicles in laneways.
- All day, and all night parking on the street from people who work or are visiting the nearby Royal Ottawa Hospital.
