June 21: Pamela's Birthday

It was drizzling when we got up, but everyone was in good spirits. We drove over to Sobeys to purchase groceries for our trip to Eastend.

In the afternoon, we went for a walk to WW Ashley Park, which is a huge depression doubling as a flood retention area.

In the evening, we went to Pamela’s parents’ house. Howard and June had prepared a sumptuous birthday feast. Pamela’s guest, Allie, had returned from out of town, and was able to join us.
