John Collins
John Collins is clearly insane. If you
have any doubts, a quick review of the "roles" he's played should quell them: a private
school pedophile (David Harris in Tea and Sympathy); a man in love with a dog (Greg
in Sylvia); a wigged-out WWII naval commander (Queeg in The Caine Mutiny Court
Martial); an S&M afficionado (Butch Patterson, Private Dick). He cleverly tosses
in a sane role once in a while (Scarlet Pimpernel, Wild Guys, A Chorus of
Disapproval), but you shouldn't be fooled. This latest undertaking, Teddy, will cement
the issue once and for all.
