The National Capital FreeNet (NCF), Canada's largest community network, is a not-for-profit organization committed to serving the individuals and organizations of the region.  Established in 1992, NCF applies internet technologies to facilitate vibrant community interactions and the free exchange of ideas and information.

 

NCF seeks a dynamic individual to manage staff, volunteers, and corporate community partners to deliver and enhance NCF's services.  The successful candidate will have full authority and responsibility to develop plans to carry out the mandate set by the Board of  Directors.

 

This position provides opportunities for high-level local community interactions, national exposure, and the chance for personal recognition in the global Internet community . . . and challenging, rewarding work.

 

Technologically astute, the successful candidate thrives on orchestrating and delivering value added services to benefit members and the region.  You'll need five-plus years management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and must have a solid understanding of Internet technologies.  English/French bilingual capabilities an asset.
