Thunder Woman
Gypsy GirlText Box: Thunder Woman

I look up into your eyes and you soar above me
your hair wild fluttering wings of feathered laughter,
this soft shadow hanging in a silken sky above me
is your dark mysterious face framed by ashen billows;
you will not kiss me slow or softly like a breeze
but will talon open my chest, not in hunger, or
even in sexual desire, but out of stead fast love
for all people. You will feed upon me until all
that is left is a hollow gleam of pure white light,
it breaks from the misty grey behind you now.

Peck at every corner of my clam shell heart,
rip it out and carry it ferment high into oblivion,
drop it back down to this earth on hard rocks,
crack it open letting out fleshy Windigo spirits –
free at last my whirlwind madness dances in
spirals around your mouth: wet with my blood
be a timeless power living this ritual of re-birth.
A new path beyond all previous knowing here;
I close my eyes shut – seeing everything at once...
Raven tresses tickle as rain drops break on my breast.
