Skiing the Chic Choc Mountains 2023
[Home]
Debbie had booked the Mount Logan circuit in the Gaspesie Park as a hut-to-hut ski tour for a group of four.
Unfortunately she had to pull out, but we managed to assemble a team anyway to go explore this area for a week. In the
end, Judy, Paul, Katharina, and myself piled into Judy's car, filled to the brim with bodies, skis, and other equipment
for the two day drive up to the Gaspe Pennisula.
We were disappointed in most of the ski trails (they are actually just snow mobile trails), but the excellent weather
and off track skiing made up for the shortfall for the skiing on the designated routes. I am not sure I would return
here due to the very long drive and lack of dedicated ski trails, but nevertheless I am glad to have experienced this
area which I have heard so much about.
