This website presents original Hindu
devotional songs composed by Srimathi Dr. Thangam Parameswaran.
She is very grateful to the Divine Power present
in all of us for inspiring her to compose the lyrics and music,
in Raagams familiar to devotees of Carnatic music.
The compositions are in Sanskrit, Tamil,
Telugu, and Hindi, and all are identified by her mudra “Maarga Bandhu”.
It is hoped that visitors to this website enjoy
listening to these original compositions.
If listeners are motivated to learn these songs
and sing or play them it will be a fulfilling experience.

CD “Bhakthi Sangeetha Samarpanam” (Top)
Dr. Parameswaran has compiled selected compositions into a CD
album titled “Bhakthi Sangeetha Samarpanam
– Carnatic Devotional Krithis”.
These songs have been rendered by Srimathi
Bhavadhaarini Anantaraman,
accompanied by Sri Melakaveri Thyagarajan on Violin, Sri Sai Siva Lakshmikesav on Mridangam and Sri Narasimhan
Narayanan on Ghatam.

The full album is available on a 2-CD set. Please contact Dr. Parameswaran for copies of the
album.

Dr. Parameswaran is a scientist by profession. Her love of Carnatic music continues to
inspire her to compose many devotional songs.
These compositions have been well received in local musical events
such as Carnatic music Composers’ day
in Canada. Friends and family members suggested that she share the songs with
other music lovers, and prompted by this encouragement she has
initiated this website to share her songs with the public. |

About the Accompanying Artists: Thangam Parameswaran thanks her
son Krishnan Parameswaran for accompanying her on the violin, and Sri
Mahalingam Santhanakrishnan, Varun Chandramouli, and Hari Shanmugam for support on the
