Online encyclopedia. Some people are leery of using it as they doubt the reliability of the articles. All I can say it that they are peer-reviewed and closely monitored. Any compalints about veracity, accuracy or slant are quickly adressed, although in my experience these are rare.

And now for something completely different; try adding a new partition to your hard drive and install one of these operating systems as an alternative to Windows; there are lots of free programs supplied with the OS, and they also run any programs that
will run on Linux. Depending on your setup they might take a leetle bit of tweaking, but hey, you just got yourself a new hobby.
