Welcome to CFUW/Kanata
THE FIRST MEETING OF THE NEW YEAR IS ON 8TH SEPTEMBER. Please see the Calendar of Events for schedule of remaining meetings.
Welcome from the President
Welcome to the Canadian Federation of University Women in Kanata (CFUW/Kanata)! Whether you are a university graduate (from anywhere in the world) or would like to join as an associate member (without a degree), we would love you to share your time and talents with us.
We have so many rich programs to offer women of all ages. Enjoy monthly meetings with stimulating guest speakers. (see calendar of events).
Challenge yourself by trying a new gourmet recipe through 'International Creative Cuisine'. Improve your bridge game by taking lessons or playing in one of our many clubs. Engage in rich discussions in our various book clubs and 'History' group. Keep fit by participating in a variety of sports offered in 'Sporty Adventures'. Advocate for social justice and keep abreast of issues affecting women and girls through the Canadian Federation of University Women and the International Federation of University Women. Above all, enjoy the fellowship of like-minded women.
Come and check us out on the first Wednesday, of each month, 7pm at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 20 Young Road in Kanata. We look forward to meeting you and renewing friendships.
Joy Forbes.
