The Cottingham Group was established in 1997 to offer information technology consulting services in strategic planning and needs assessment in the areas of IT renewal, IT security, and standards strategies. In choosing to concentrate on these areas, the company is able to capitalize on the many years of public and private sector experience gained by founder and president Mike Harrop and his associates.
Although the company intends to remain small and focussed, it has established informal associations with highly competent and trusted professionals who cover a broad range of specialties. Collaborative work is also undertaken with larger, more broadly-based organizations when appropriate. In this way we are able to provide consulting services to meet a wide range of client needs.
The company is particularly geared to projects with clearly-defined objectives and deliverables and is able to assist in the development of work statements to achieve those goals.
