The 2008 edition of the Carleton Place Fly-in was scheduled for Saturday 6 September, but a day of rain moved it to the Sunday instead. Even so, the fly-in lunch was just completed when the rain started all over again! Perfect timing!
About 25 aircraft attended this year, including some antiques and replicas. As always the food was great and this small rural fly-in attracts some of the friendliest pilots and crews around.
