At Ruskin's Cafe, our first meal after thirty hours without sleep, nine hours since we last ate, and an hour or two in the British Museum.

We were ready for this.

Yes. we are tourists. We have our maps and our cameras and, once again, a determination to be sensible, to avoid exhausting ourselves, to take breaks, to remember to eat.

Yes, well... good intentions and all that.

We gaped, we gawped, we wandered, we took photographs. Lots and lots of photographs. We spent a lot of time in churches and cathedrals and museums and shops and bookstores... and we got lost: If you don't get lost, you aren't trying hard enough,
