On this CD:
A BIG hug to Amanda Strawn for her time and divine talent! An accomplished vocalist, musician, actor and songwriter, Amanda is known for her deep honey tones, and brings a soulful vibe to the jazzy torch song Make Me Happy. Be sure to visit her MYSPACE SITE to hear her music.
We're also thrilled to welcome Francine Laroche, who joined us for our April show as a Fabulous Doo-Wop Gal. Francine's clear, melodious vocal and groovin' rhythms were a delight to audiences and a fantastic addition to the show. For the CD, she's one of our lead vocalists. Francine is a singer/songwriter and recording artist, and you may have seen her at Bluesfest and various other gigs. Some of her music is HERE.
As well, Helen Roos resurrects her wonderful operatic vocal for I Vanna Get Schpanked!; James Murchison is back with aplomb, for the Bad Actor Blues; Marc Grandmaison rocks it up with He's the Cat; Laszlo Szijarto kicks in some cool guitar and masterful percussion, and stirs the longing of the soul with the exquisite love ballad, Desiree's Song.
And of course, Guy Del Villano is on piano, accordian, guitar and some things we can only wonder about. Known for his energetic blues piano style, Guy also flexes his creativity with beautiful classical tones, honky-tonk campiness and German cabaret stylings -- giving his compositions a depth of versatility and feeling, as well as an overall sense of fun! Visit Guy's page HERE .
Assuming all goes well, and the technology doesn't bugger up, this musical marvel will be released early summer, 2008.*
And, there will be a BIG PARTY!!!!
Stay tuned for more details.

* August, 2008: Naturally, the technology buggered up - but we assumed it would. Whenever our lovable recording whiz frees himself from the clutches of wild topless women (don't ask) we'll be back at 'er.
Meanwhile, we're looking for a venue for the next show, but don't expect any sudden moves before fall. Your little update fairy will be back with little updates as they occur. Love and peace!
