Passo di Valles (2031 m asl) is located between routes 50 and 346 just north of Passo Rolle, Italy. Cows strolling on or across roads are to be looked out for especially after coming around a bend or entering a tunnel.

Passo Giau (2233 m asl) is located on route 638, 11 kilometers down the road from Pocol, Italy.

Passo Fedaia (2057 m asl) leads into the town of Canazei to the west. Just east of the pass from the town of Sottoguda, a narrow road within a gorge follows the main road and rejoins to the west of the pass. This road is marked off as closed to traffic.

Passo Costalunga (1752 m asl) is located on route 241. Just west of the pass, one has the option of taking the road over the Nigerpass by turning right at the fork in the road or by continuing on route 241 and taking the scenic road along the Eggental into the town of Bolzano a.k.a. Bozen.

Passo Gardena (2137 m asl) is part of the horizontal figure eight loop of passes between the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the east and Canazei in the west.

Passo Valparola (2192 m asl) is part of the horizontal figure eight loop of passes between the town of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the east and Canazei in the west. Just south of the fort shown in the previous photo, Passo di Falzarego comes into view.

The road through the tunnel near the town of Pocol hangs a sharp right when heading west. From the town of Pocol, you have the option of riding the horizontal figure eight loop of passes to the west which include Passo di Falzarego, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, Passo Gardena, Passo di Campolongo and Passo di Valparola, or heading south to ride passes such as Passo Giau, Passo Cibiana, Passo Duran, Passo di Cereda, Passo Rolle, Passo di Valles, Passo di San Pellegrino and Passo Fedaia.
