Asus Eee vs Fujitsu LifeBook U810

I was in at PC Cyber looking at the Asus Eee notebook on 2008-01-04.
Their prices are
    $299 with 2 GB drive
    $349 with 4 GB drive
$399 with 4 GB and web cam
What I do not like about it is that it does not have a touch screen, so you have to use a touch pad to move the cursor.

I also saw the Fujitsu LifeBook U810 which is much smaller and much better, however, it costs $899 Can.
The U810 does have a touch screen. It also has a swivel screen, so it can be used as a tablet PC.
To use as a tablet, you install Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition 2005. The alternate OS is Windows Vista Business edition.
The touch screen is much faster to use than the touch pad on the Eee.
The U810 size is right for me - it would go in my purse. The Eee would not.
