Ottawa, Nov 2003 - Reaffirming Chartwell’s commitment to the federal marketplace, John Bruder will be assuming the role of Director, Eastern Region effective December 15, 2003.  Mr Bruder is a 15 year veteran with the firm and now reports directly to the president, Jeff Smith.

 

John was promoted to partner last year and relocated to Ottawa where he has been learning the federal government marketplace by working closely with his predecessor Mike Giovinazzo.

 

Mike has been on contract with Chartwell for the last 18 months to establish a federal foothold. At a time when many firms were contracting, Chartwell sold almost a million dollars in its first full year of operation and has established a solid base of practitioners upon which to build. Mike states “Ottawa’s success is clearly linked to the excellent reputation the firm had already established with Enterprise Architecture in other government jurisdictions”.

 

Looking ahead Chartwell has a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and excellent qualifications in their areas of core competency. John Bruder says “my key focus is now to ensure a strong and consistent delivery capability, especially in support of Treasury Board’s BTEP (Business Transformation Enablement Program) “

 

Mike will stay on as one of Chartwell’s close associates providing architecture support services to Chartwell clients while having the added responsibility of supporting John and the Ottawa branch with strategic opportunities.
