Ottawa, Nov 2003 - Reaffirming Chartwells commitment to the federal marketplace, John Bruder will be assuming the role of Director, Eastern Region effective December 15, 2003. Mr Bruder is a 15 year veteran with the firm and now reports directly to the president, Jeff Smith.
John was promoted to partner last year and relocated to Ottawa where he has been learning the federal government marketplace by working closely with his predecessor Mike Giovinazzo.
Mike has been on contract with Chartwell for the last 18 months to establish a federal foothold. At a time when many firms were contracting, Chartwell sold almost a million dollars in its first full year of operation and has established a solid base of practitioners upon which to build. Mike states Ottawas success is clearly linked to the excellent reputation the firm had already established with Enterprise Architecture in other government jurisdictions.
Looking ahead Chartwell has a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and excellent qualifications in their areas of core competency. John Bruder says my key focus is now to ensure a strong and consistent delivery capability, especially in support of Treasury Boards BTEP (Business Transformation Enablement Program)
Mike will stay on as one of Chartwells close associates providing architecture support services to Chartwell clients while having the added responsibility of supporting John and the Ottawa branch with strategic opportunities.
Chartwell has been in the business of strategic planning and architecture for nearly 20 years. They are a boutique firm specialized in addressing the strategic needs of government. Chartwell has have led major initiatives at both the Provincial and Federal levels implementing the Zachman Framework for all architecture domains including business, data, applications, technology and security. Chartwell now has over 35 consultants on staff with over 500 years collective work experience.
