Hunters are taken out to set up and usually pick their own site / stand with guidance.
Provide your own decoys and you do the calling, it is all part of your hunting experience.
There is little hunter pressure on these free range deer.
It is hunting though, so no promises.
We have trophy bucks in excess of the 150 inch
P&Y class
with outside mass 16 inches or more on the property. Photos are from our harvests only
You will be hunting in Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) 64A
The general vicinity is a mixture of croplands,
large tracts of hardwood/softwood forests with rivers and swamp.
Provincially-designated deer yard overlaps our northern oasis.
The deer are free ranging, trophy quality, not trapped by fences
There are no restrictions on the class of deer you take, choice is
yours.
Please! try not to shoot bucks with less than 6 points.
