The "Bytown Chapter" of the Good Sam RV Club celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2003. Several members live in the Ottawa area but we have members from Cornwall to Fergus.

Our home camp is "Happy Green Acres Campground" near Brockville Ontario. We meet there on Victoria Day and Labour Day weekends each year. We also enjoy a couple "off season get togethers" such as dinners at restaurants or a Christmas party at a members home.

The Good Sam Club promotes highway cleanup, so every Spring the Bytowners get out and clean up a stretch of highway that our chapter has adopted.

Our get togethers include : crafts, outdoor games, indoor games, pancake breakfasts, potluck dinners, Chinese Auctions, bingo and Friendship.

Through the generosity of our members we have been able to donate several lap quilts and Afghans to seniors as well as patients in the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario. We hold fundraisers to help pay for materials for these projects.
