On the chessboard, a knight is conventionally represented by a horse, a fitting tribute to the cooperative intelligence of the war mount.
No self-respecting mercenary could help but identify with the glory of horsepower. But what if while assuming the horse helmet, a true merger of identities occurred? Then the bit would clatter to the ground like a foolish thing, while the war room echoed with horse laughter.
