Helmut Erich. On October 4, 2005 in his eighty-first year at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. After a valiant fight with cancer, dearly beloved husband of Angele Poirier, dear father of Christian (Lynda), Ralf (Nancy), and stepfather of Alexandre and Dominique, Opa of Melanie, Ryan and Eric. Fondly remembered by relatives and friends in Germany and Switzerland. A memorial service will be held at Cedar Park United Church, 204 Lakeview Avenue in Pointe-Claire on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 3 p.m. Donations in honor of Helmut may be sent to the West Island Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre-Brunet in Kirkland, H9J 3R4.
