- He was, according to Maryse, a very fast "two fingered"
typist.

- Sometimes took his young daughter Maryse to wrestling matches
- as he was often "on duty" as a member of St John's
Ambulance
- at these events and could sometimes get ringside seats :-)

S. Jerome Dies Sunday At Montreal
Stewart Jerome, manager of Norman's Transfer Ltd. in Cornwall died ar
Montreal General Hospital Sunday. He was in his 53rd year.
Mr. Jerome had been ill for several weeks. He was well known and
esteemed in his native Cornwall and was active in community affairs.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Jerome and married
the former Lolita Hurteau who survives
Besides being manager of Norman's Transfer, Mr Jerome was also active
in several community organizations including the Kiwanis Club, Curling
Club, Board of Trade and formally served on C.C.V.S. Board of Trustees.
Mr. Jerome is survived by his wife, one daughter, Maryse (Mrs Robert
Denis), Bickley-Kent, England and one grand-daughter Jocelyn.
He also leaves a brother Leonard of Toronto and three sisters, Mrs.
Norman Emblem and Miss Ethel Jerome, Reg. N, both of Montreal, and Mrs
James Alguire of Cornwall.
The body will rest at Bonneville Funeral Home until Wednesday when
funeral service will be held in Nativity Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place in Nativity Cemetery.
