  Comments by her husband
  002y100,, Robert
She was my soul-mate

Maryse was very dearly beloved by
every member of her family including
parents, aunts, uncles and cousins

She was a powerful swimmer
and worked as lifeguard
in her native Cornwall
during the summers while still in school.

She met her husband Robert while they
were both students at McGill University.

Later, was known by friends and family
for her spectacular cakes
She made wedding cakes, christening cakes,
birthday cakes, and
many party cakes for special occasions

Loved to dance.
With her husband Robert, she was active in
Square dancing, Round dancing, and Ballroom dancing.
They did not go in for competitions
but they had many enjoyable times together

Generous almost to a fault.
Festive occasions such as Christmas,
birthdays, Easter, Halloween, and others,
were marked by a veritable avalanche of gifts
from her for everyone involved

Her positive support of her family's endeavors
made her truly "the wind beneath their wings".
