Confirm start times with coaches for distant diamonds (Arnprior and Pakenham) prior to game

All teams can arrange additional games at any time outside this schedule - particularly to play in Arnprior or Pakenham double headers.  The costs for these games should be split between the 2 teams and be financially managed outside of the CCFL fees and costs.   Umpire contacts are on the main CCFL web page

After each game, the wining team or both to email the scorekeeper quoting 1) Game number 2) Won or lost 3)scores 4)any issues that should be made known.  PLEASE ensure you quote the game number (not the game date

Games are usually 1:45 and start at 6:30 or 8:30.  No new inning after 1:45.  The official time is the last play of the inning just ended and is by official umpire time.  Locations where travel issues exist or have double headers etc can be adjusted as required and be discussed and agreed to between the coaches or are established before the games start.

It is up to the loosing coach to decide to end a game at any time before 1:45

Coaches agree at the start of the game that either a) The entire team roster can bat and has unlimited substitutions OR b) standard substitution rules are to apply.  Note that one team can select A) and the other can select B) - both do not have to play the same format.  The batting order must remain the same.

A team can start a game with 8 players or continue to play with 8 players and there shall be no automatic out for the missing player. A team cannot start or continue a game with less than 8 players.

A player arriving late to a game can be inserted into the line-up at the bottom of the order  This applies to both A) and B) formats

Teams that will be short of players can use any player from any other source in order to make a total of 9 players on the team for that game. (including playoffs).

A game is complete after 31/2  innings of play if Home team is ahead – otherwise it’s after 4 innings

Teams canceling games that are not made up forfeit the game.  If both teams cancel a game, the home team forfeits to the visiting team.

Any regular season scheduled games that were cancelled can be made up as long as it meets within the approved budget for umpires and diamonds otherwise the teams should split any additional costs
