Note: Photo provided by the Highland's Historical Foundation, Edmonton, who received it from Highland's resident Catherine Morrison. It is related to this article: "A Prairie Boatyard - in the Highlands", written in 1993 by Anita Jenkins in the Foundation newsletter (v.4, No.2, Fall, 1993. p. 1 and 3).

The shed has the name "Kermath Boat Engines". The boats built at this yard are reported to have been shipped North, but some may have been used on the North Saskatchewan River. Other photos from the same article will be reproduced on this site in the near future.
