GRIZZLY

Hi! My name is Grizzly. I am a dwarf rabbit, rescued from Knowlton, Quebec, where Greg's parents' were caring for me while I was living in thier shed. Greg and Sharon agreed that this was no life for a bunny. They took me home with them, where I am now living in my own luxurious condo. I love this place. I get to rub noses with Gypsy and Sam all the time.

I am a small, brown, fuzzy girl, approximately 2 years old. Sharon took me to the vet when I was about 6 months old and I was spayed. She said that this was to help me live a long and healthy life, as unspayed rabbits are prone to cancer. That was a scary day, but I quickly recovered from that experience, and have been a relaxed bunny ever since. Now I am demanding of attention, and especially cookies. Those bunny Squares are yummy! I think I learned to like them, thanks to Zoey. She taught me well how to ask politely. The more I pull on the cage, the more I get. I miss her. She was sadly euthanized at the age of 11 years. I hope I am as healthy for as long as she was.

The pen that Sharon and Greg made for me came from an idea they found on the Internet. I am so lucky, I have so much space. They are using something called Neat Idea Cubes, which they fasten together with cable ties. They were bought from a store called Stay Organized, in Ottawa. They can arrange them into any shape I want. My flooring is indoor/outdoor carpeting so Sharon can keep it clean simply by vacuuming. I even have 3 stories I can hop to, each supported with round wooden dowels from Home Depot. They are talking of expanding it even bigger one day soon. I then have a large litter box filled with Yesterday's news, and a layer of timothy hay. I also get my rabbit pellets every day, and a full bowl of clean water. It is a great way to live.
