Please pray for Laurie-Ann and Tony Copple
Ministry trip to Migori Worship Centre
- Migori, Kenya - July 3 - 22, 2005

Correspondence with Bishop John Okinda

Dear Tony,
Sorry to have taken forever to return your mail. My computer was down but thank God it is now working. We are all looking forward to your visit here, arriving in Kisumu on Friday July 8th and leaving out of Kisumu on Monday 18th July.

We are praying for you as you work on matters partaining to this trip. Friends, I want to welcome to Kenya, and welcome you to the village of Migori where we have our work Migori Worship Center, the Pastor's training center, and the Hope Center (orphanage); all these are still under construction. Welcome to Ragana Village; this is where we live. We are so happy that you are coming. We are looking forward to you arrival here.

Teaching on the topics mentioned will be so wonderful.

Am praying for the Lord to provide me with some funds to be able to buy some food for those who are praying to be allowed to camp here at Worship Center for the teachings. Right now I have recieved a request of about 200 people. Some of these are church leaders from villages afar.

Am praying that we host them here for 5 days.

The 3 meals will cost 4 Dollars Canadian per person. This adds to a lot of money: 4x200 people x 5days = 4000 Canadian Dollars.
Friends, pray with me for the financial miracle to make this happen, for the teachings they will receive from you will touch many for a long time.

Please pass my love to all.

Am looking forward to hear from you again. Yours in Him,
Bishop John Okinda.

Subject: The Copples in Migori in July

Dear Bishop John:
You asked me to list the subjects that I thought I could speak on during our time in Migori.

We will be there from July 9 - July 17, 8 full days plus the Friday night July 8. (Pick us up at Kisumu airport Fri July 8, 9:30 am; drop off at Kisumu 8:00 am Mon July 18.)

Laurie-Ann has separately sent you the subjects that she can teach. Here are the subjects that I can teach. If I cover all 14 talks below, that means 2 per day. If that is too much, I could do either "A" or "B", whichever you feel is most needed. Each session would probably be about an hour. I understand that someone will translate for me.

A: To non-Christians and new Christians
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can I be sure of my faith?
How and why should I read the Bible?
Why and how do I pray?
The Holy Spirit
How can I resist evil?
Christian healing
Telling others

B: To lay leaders
Organizing an Alpha course
Resources and training needed
The course topics (excluding the Holy Spirit)
The Holy Spirit session.

God bless you and your ministry.

- Tony
