Professor Snape's Poem
    This poem was written by Professor Snape during Harry's 1st year. It was the clue to getting past him obstacle, which was to drink 2 potions to gt through either fire. Here is how it goes:

Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind,
Two of us will help you, whichever you would find,
One among us seven will let you move ahead,
Another will transport the drinker back instead,
Two among our numbers hold only nettle wine,
Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line.
Choose, unless you wish to stay here forevermore,
To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four:
First, however the poison tries to hide
You will always find some on nettle wine's left side;
Second, different are those who stand at either end,
But if you move onwards, neither is your friend;
Third, as you see clearly, all are different size,
Neither dwarf or giant holds death in their insides;
Fourth, the second left and the second on the right
Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight.

    So, which one is it? You cannot figure it out without a diagram of the bottles, which I do not have. The answer is that: the smallest will let you move ahead, while the round one at the right end of the line will get you back. Clever, eh?

The Mirror Of Erised
    "You see what you desire ... I see myself presenting The Stone to my master, but how do I get it?!" - Professor Quirrell

    The Mirror Of Erised shows your heart's deepest desire. ERISED is backwards of DESIRE, after all. And, I found something out: on the bottom of page 152 of Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, you will see the below writing:

Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi

    If you read is backwards, and stop at certain words, it will say:

Is how not your face but your hearts desire

    Now, if you grammarize it, it will say:

Is how your face, but your heart's desire

    Pretty cool, eh? Found that out yesterday night (Monday July 5, 2004).
