After a very short night at the Shanti Palace Hotel, the Asian Adventure drivers picked up at 2:00 am and drove us to the airport. It was surprisingly busy, and we had long waits in lines. But there were no hitches, and we were off to Heathrow.
After a layover, we split up with only Alan and Carol coming on to Montreal with us. Another layover, and we were on our way to Ottawa. Our four bags were the only ones on the carousel!
What an amazing trip! What a long time to recover from the jetlag.
