Mark arranged a buffet breakfast at the hotel, then, at 7:30, we walked over to the airport to check in for our flight at 10:15 am.
We were in plenty of time. But 10:15 came and went with no sign of our plane. The flight was delayed several times. Calm Air issued us lunch vouchers.
Finally, a plane arrived and we eagerly boarded. We taxied out to the runway, but could not take off due to mechanical issues. So, we returned to the terminal for more waiting.
Calm Air issued dinner vouchers.
Then another plane arrived after dinner, and this time we took off. But 40 minutes into the flight, the pilot announced that there was a warning light, so he returned to the terminal in Winnipeg.
Calm Air issued hotel and breakfast vouchers. So back we went to the Lakeview Signature at 11:00 pm. Mark arranged a new flight at 7:00 am, so we set our alarm for 4:30 am.
