The Soukup Room 1

Jiri Soukup escaped from communist Czechoslovakia in 1970, and many of his paintings were either lost, or their present owners are not known. Some of these therefore exist only as slides or images. Where the current owner is known this is shown in [brackets]. He now lives in Richmond, Ontario, Canada. He and his wife Hana live a very full life, even though Jiri is now retired from the software design world. The pieces are in roughly chronological order, starting in the late 1950s in Rooms 1 - 3, and ending with the most recent work in Rooms 4 and 5.
