As all of you are no doubt aware, Bill C-38, the same-sex ‘marriage’ bill is slowly winding itself through committee towards the third and final reading in the House. For all intents and purposes, it seems that this legislation is destined to pass the House and become law. As someone who recognizes the grave threat and harm such legislation will have on our Canadian society, it is incumbent on you to do everything within your power to ensure that this legislation does not become law. Canada has become a corrupt nation. It has lost its moral foundation and teeters on the brink of moral and social collapse. Once a nation expunges one of the most basic and fundamental moral cornerstones of society like marriage, its civil, democratic, and even economic structures, which depend on these cornerstones, will eventually disintegrate as well. When you pass from this life, few people will remember that you remained committed to the Liberal Party. You will be considered, like the rest, too fearful to take a stand for marriage when sacrifice was required. In the end, the only thing that will save this country from its present moral bankruptcy of self indulgence is a true and authentic sacrifice by a few good men and women who have the courage to stand on guard for our country and leave the Liberal Party. Corruption and self-absorption can only survive when there is no sacrifice or honour. Before Sodom was destroyed, Abraham had pleaded with God to spare the city if he could find just ten righteous people living there. Abraham could not find ten righteous people in Sodom. We are not asking for ten righteous people in the Liberal Party. We are asking for merely three of you - three Liberals who are willing to put their own political ambitions aside for the good of our nation and God’s natural and moral law. Please, we beg you, for the common good of our society, for our once great nation, and for our children: leave the Liberal Party and bring down this government to preserve marriage. Signatory:
John Pacheco,
Send to people who care.
