At Puerto Plata, Sosúa or Cabarete, along the Northwest littoral, featuring beautiful beaches, water sports, fine restaurants and lots of entertainment; but now with the possibility of making your vacation more interesting and beneficial by learning and/or practicing the local language. Only experienced (at least five years) bilingual, accredited, native Spanish speaking teachers. Classes will be held at the teachers' premises ot at the students' residence or hotel
COURSES - From January 15 to March 15, 2010
A) One week IMMERSION, two hours daily, five days except Sundays and holidays. B) INTRODUCTION TO BASIC SPANISH (Survival Spanish) a two consecutive hours session, oriented toward tourists and, C) CUSTOM MADE INSTRUCTION, in accordance with the student(s') needs, a minimum of two hours weekly.
Levels:
1. Beginners (Basic Needs)
2. Intermediate
3. Advanced
Up to six persosn at a time. No children. Adults, 16 year old or over only. Private lessons, tutoring approach, thus maximizing learning results.
The weekly immersion course takes ten hours, optional extensions of two hour blocks will be offered. The teacher will suggest the textbooks to use in the courses, depending on the student's level in Spanish, the cost will be covered by the student(s). Teaching from 9AM to 7PM, except Sundays and Holydays
PRICES:
1. One person: $12.00 USD per hour
2. Two persons at a time (same level): $15.00 USD per hour
3. Three persons, up to six, at a time: $ 18.00 USD per hour
OPTION: TEACHERS TRAVELLING TO THE STUDENTS' PREMISES
If the lessons take place outside the teachers' location, Spanish Plus Services will pay the transportation cost of its teachers to where the students want to have them; consequently, travelling time and expenses will be reimbursed by the students based on a mutual agreement depending on the location within the area, the schedule, if one or two consecutive hours with the students, etc. The agreement must be reached beforehand
COURSE REGISTRATION:
First come first serve
The weekly immersion course (10 hours) requires a deposit of 20% to sign up, refundable upon cancellation up to 15 days prior to the date set to begin. Other courses registration is on site
PAYMENT:
As indicated above, $ 24.00 USD (20%) deposit for the weekly immersion, the balance
$ 96.00 USD to be agreed. Other courses are payable at the time they take place. Payments must be effected to teachers on site, either by cash, local cheque or PayPal.
