First Nations

Assembly of First Nations (AFN) is the national representative organization of the First Nations in Canada.

Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) is the sole national representative organization whose affiliates are open to over 800,000 off-reserve Indian, Inuit, and Metis people.

Metis

Métis National Council is the national representative of the Métis Nation in Canada.

The Other Métis As the title of this site implies, the emphasis of the information presented here will be related to those Métis who are not represented by the better known Canadian prairie Métis organizations and their national organization, the Metis National Council.

Inuit

Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami – ITK – is the national Inuit organization in Canada.
