The following is a release list by movie of all Star Wars action figures released on Canadian cardbacks from 1978-1985 inclusive. For obvious reasons, the Canadian shrinkwrapped figures, Droids and Ewoks figures are not listed here, nor is the Canadian carded wind-up walking R2-D2. The ESB/ROTJ Transition cardbacks are not included either since the cardbacks they were released on had been previously released versions but with a trio of ROTJ stickers affixed to them. Please take note that the Canadian cardbacks are unique, and the versions (ie: A, B, C, D) do not directly correspond to cardbacks from any other country.

This release list is the culmination of many years of research and allows collectors a snapshot view of Canadian Star Wars trilogy action figure releases by character or by individual cardback. The information presented here is meant to be used as a guide, and is by no means final as discoveries of different action figure releases are always emerging. Some logical assumptions have been made in the compilation of this list.
