Hail and well met, fellow explorer. I am Aelfward Shadowstar, *bows and doffs hat* swashbuckler and adventurer. I am but one of cn236's many characters that he plays on occasion. When cn236 joins his fellow OSQUIPS for an RPGA tournament, I am the one usually chosen. The adventures often are a little too violent for me, but if there is a fair maiden needing help, I will step in no matter the danger to me.
I am the only offspring between my mother, a gypsy woman travelling the Realms, and my father, an elven adventurer. As you can see, wandering is in my blood, though lately I do stay near Raven's Bluff.
Are you quite done, Aelfy?
Patience, Lady Daphne, patience. Please forgive the mageling. Her manners are not what they could be.
*rolls eyes* Aelfward, you could talk the boots off King Azoun.
The young lady is a tad impatient. I must be off, though. People to meet, crowds to win over with tales of my heroic feats. Ta!
He's gone. You could have at least introduced me! Hmph. Swashbucklers. Well met. I am Daphne Thistleswan, mage. My father is a merchant coster, with a small fleet of merchantmen based in Immersea. I've always loved sailing, by the Art intrigued me. Naturally, Daddy didn't agree, so I learned the Art anyway. I'm in Raven's Bluff to show to him that I can stand up for myself.
If I survive. You see, I picked up the notice of gods and demons. I've always been a follower of the Lady of Mystery; but, now, I'm taking a good hard look at my life and how I can serve the Lady of Mystery better. I've been surrounded by priests of many faiths on my adventures, and they seem to be happier than I can say I ever been.
I'll cut this short --
Hey!
Sorry, Michaelus. Figure of speech. I'm still learning how to work with other races. Dwarves in particular. Before he loses all his patience, I'll leave you with Michaelus Hammersmith.
*offers business card* Michaelus Hammersmith, Investigator, at your service. I will insist on a contract, but we can talk to any priest you like to have him explain the terms and conditions. I will do personal-type work, you know, recommending very strongly that someone should do as you ask, but no murder.
The armour? Protection. I can also dress in more subtle clothes. Likewise for Betsy - she doesn't mind being left behind. When things do go bad, she'll be at my side where she belongs.
I got a payin' customer who needs me to deliver a few messages. Gotta go. You've got my card, you can find me.
My turn? Alrighty, away from that fantasy stuff. Hi, I'm Vicki Parsons, mutant and student at Professor Xavier's School for gifted students. Or I'm supposed to be. I got to the School and found it in a wreck, with nobody around. Then other students arrived, but still no teachers. Things got then got weird. Some guy controlled the former students who arrived. One of us went off to investigate the Pentagon (!), while the rest of us decided to try to clean the place up. One thing led to another, and now, I'm somewhere in England or Scotland in a pink leotard wondering how I'm getting home.
Oh, come on Brenna, it's text only. No one will see you.
Are you sure?
Trust me on this.
Hi, I'm Brenna Halliday, codenamed Hindsight. I'm part of the Militia, an offshoot of the Minute Men. I didn't exactly have a choice either. See, my mom died, and in her will, she sent both me and my sister Grace off. She expected Gracie to get the Soul Blade - they were constantly working together - but Mom never had the chance to give the Blade to Grace. Now I have it. Gracie hates me now because I got it and not her, and all I want is to just go home to San Diego. I never asked to be a hero. Oh, and now my mother wants to spend more time with me. I know, she's dead. Did I mention that I can see ghosts? I normally don't say anything about that, but now I've got my mother watching over me. Like I don't have enough problems with my non-existant love life as it is. *sighs* *leaves*
Looks like I'm the last of the lot. The name's Kier
Greydon, owner and operator of Lissa's Dream, an HT-2200 transport.
I'm the most recent character put into play. cn236 was in a Traveller
campaign that the GM wound down. Unfortunately, the character he played
in that campaign, Aerrllun is a little under
the weather right now, playing pupsicle in a low berth. The Vargr just
should have kept running, if you ask me. You would never see me try
something that stupid. I got a family to watch out for, if I ever find
them.
