Aelfward was the first character I created for the RPGA. He wound up taking a fireball at too close a range in his first adventure, and was crispy but not dead. He was made on the spot, quickly, and was essentially an half-elven Arsene Lupin - a gentleman thief. He has since gained a real personality, with his battle cry "I'm a lover, not a fighter" and the friendly rivalry with Zithor, another swashbuckler.

In game terms, Aelfward is currently a 6th level thief, using the Swashbuckler kit from "The Complete Thieves' Handbook". He fights with a rapier, and with the mage Hobunn, has become the surprise factor to enemy spellcasters.
