YP Gear has been designed for the study of gear trains. This Macintosh software simulates the motion of a gear train composed of 2, 3 or 4 gears. The user controls the size of each gear.
Important: Customers who already purchased "YP Planetary Gear" don't have to pay for "YP Gear": both programs are unlocked with the same code. Furthermore, when you buy "YP Gear", you automatically get a user license for "YP Planetary Gear" for free.
Required Hardware and Software: YP Gear runs on any Macintosh computer with MAC OS 7, 8 or 9. It needs about 315 Kb on your hard disk and 1,2 Mb of RAM. The software runs on older models with 68000 processors (Mac Plus, Mac Classic), but simulations are slower.
