Catlin dumped Sally down on the bed. He's cheerful. She's mad. He shut the door in what could have been a meaning way and I feared lest things get Ugly.
Michael told the twins he was their father. He asked Donna to back him up. She collapsed.
Cass and Kathleen on the couch thought they heard someone breaking in. Cass went to investigate. Arming himself with a saucepan he bashed – VINCE. THE RÔLE OF MJ MCKINNON IS NOW BEING PLAYED BY SALLY SPENCER. Cass picked up Vince and apologised. Vince was annoyed. Kathleen emerged from the living room. MJ arrived. (She's blonde.) Vince blames Cass for Kathleen's paralysis. Kathleen wouldn't stand for that. Cass did his best to be swell. He rushed out to buy a pizza for dinner. Vince is a jerk.
Marley was more concerned than Michael. She rushed off to call Dr Drury. Michael advised Donna not to put her hand out before falling if she didn't want to give the whole show away. She revived. Michael told the twins he thought she'd live. He got her to inhale a liberal amount of smelling salts. The doctor's coming. Donna's going up to bed. Everyone except for Victoria and Michael is overwhelmed. Marley accused Michael of making them look like fools.
Catlin asked what he'd done wrong. She accused him of having staged the breakdown etc. He was irritating. They yelled at each other. He calmed down and told her she was afraid because she had feelings for him. She told him to get out. He said he wasn't going anywhere until they'd worked this out. She struggled. He said all he wanted was to talk. She said she didn't know how she felt. He said she loved him. She told him to let her go. He told her he loved her. The neighbours threatened to call the police (Catlin was being rather loud about it). He told her if she wanted the police called all she had to do was yell.
Michael asked Marley why she was so angry. She's mad at being lied to. He said he'd been waiting for Donna and promised never to lie to her again. She wasn't sure she could trust him. He suggested she get to know him. Marley's sick of trusting untrustworthy people. He begged her to trust him. She wouldn't take his word. She went to talk to the person she can trust.
For some reason Mother McKinnon didn't have to die. Vince wants Kathleen to go in for the French doctor's treatment. He's free tomorrow. Miraculously. Thanks to Edward.
Sally didn't yell. She said she wanted to go home. She said if he loved her he'd let her leave. He said he wanted to talk sense. She wanted to talk about Brittany. He said he wasn't going to fight her any longer. If she wants to let a little mistake (she thinks it was a BIG one) ruin all they had together, he's giving up. He told her to show him just how much he didn't mean for her. GLADLY quoth she and made for the door. He told her to find herself a man she could walk over.
Donna told Victoria not to let Michael in. She let him in. She asked him how much he was worth (mentioning figures like $200 million. Ouch.) He said he was solvent. She said it didn't matter and left. He's frustrated by Victoria's lack of emotional display. He made conversation about how once Donna let him into the house and they'd made love in that very bed.
Kathleen has to decide. She has to talk to Cass. This annoyed Vince. Cass returned. MJ hauled Vince off to fix the shower. Kathleen told Cass about the possibility of the operation. He was against it. Vince told him to get out.
Donna told Michael he'd just ruined her life. He said he wanted to be paternal and had no desire to lure the twins away from her. He told her the invitation would read "Michael Hudson and Donna Love request your presence at the wedding of their daughter" etc. She told him not to tell her what to do. He kissed her. She calmed down. He left.
Sally admitted trying to punish him because she'd felt betrayed. He wouldn't let her go until they had settled this. She shut herself in the bathroom. He prepared to lay siege.
Vince and Cass argued. Kathleen told them to shut up. It's her decision. MJ told them to behave calmly. Vince is a jerk.
Marley told Jake. He finds this incredible. Marley believes him [Michael]. She says he's nice but she's afraid because of the last father. He comforted her. She told him he was the only one who was honest with her. He was perturbed.
Sally told Catlin she was confused. She cried. She admitted she cared for him. She thought about being with Catlin in the shower and various other places. Music*. (I'll hold you and touch you and make you my woman I'll give my love in sweet surrender tonight our hearts will beat as one and I will hold you touch you make you my woman tonight. There's something in your eyes I see a pure and simple honesty hold me in your arms tonight fill my life with pleasure . . .) Catlin was silent. Sally said she was coming out. She did. He was subdued and said he'd leave. She asked him to stay.
Victoria told Donna Marley would likely find out she'd hired Ralph. Donna told her not to tell. Vic pointed out that Michael was a Catch who could get them anything they wanted including Jake.
(I believe you when you say that you love me know that I won't take you for granted tonight the magic has begun so won't you hold me touch me make you meet your woman tonight there's something in your eyes I see I won't betray your trust in me hold me in your arms tonight etc.) Catlin stayed.
Things at the McKinnons got uncalm. The operation could be fatal. Kathleen has made her decision.
Things with the Ewings got unclothed.
Donna imagined being married to Michael.
Kathleen feels bad about the way she's behaved (mistreating Cass). She's going through with the operation. She promised she'd dance at her wedding.
