Jake asked Catlin to find out who had called his boss. Catlin called it a wedding present. Enter Vic.
Rachel: are you out of your mind? Sally: no, I don't think so. Rachel is protesting Sally inviting the Loves. Sally said she could handle it.
Brittany & Peter's invitation arrived by messenger. She looked stricken. Enter Donna. She asked what was the matter. Brittany: nothing. I'm just feeling a little under the weather. Donna: I hope it's serious. She picked up the invitation and realized why Britt was sickened. She was thrilled. Brittany told her the Ewings knew that Peter was the baby's father. Donna: then I guess that Sally's the same gullible fool that she's always been. Brittany: no, she's civilized, unlike some other people around here. Britt told Donna her plans would backfire. Donna said she didn't care what it took to get her out.
Rachel thinks Sally is foolish. She advised Sally not to invite trouble. Sally told her nothing could ruin this wedding. Rachel asked why she was wearing the same dress. Sally: just sentimental, I guess. Wearing the same dress, marrying the same man. Except this time it's going to be forever. Rachel: I keep marrying Mac, you keep marrying Catlin — I guess there must be something in the water in this town. Sally: it's so hard to improve on a good thing. She said there was a storm front coming Friday. Rachel: Oh no. One wedding in the dark is bad enough but two is going to be a drag. Sally's not worried. Mac is planning a bachelor party.
Victoria joined Jake and Catlin. She suggested that someone from Lassiter had done it. Exit Catlin. Jake told Nancy he and Marley would clean out the room. Nancy accused Vic of calling Jake's boss. Vic told her to tell him.
Donna went to the Corys' to see Mac. Mac is in Chicago. Rachel let her in. She was called out to the stables to sign something. Donna found Liz' number in Mac's book and called her in an assumed voice pretending that she had to have her sign for something. Liz said she'd go to the office.
Vic told Jake Nancy had something to tell him. Nancy hesitated so Vic told him for her. Jake refused to believe it. The caller was a man and Jake knows Vic well. Enter Vince. Exit Vic. Vince gave Jake what for for hanging out with such trash.
Donna went to the Complex ostensibly to see Mac. She talked to Liz about Brittany, letting on that she knew Catlin was the father of Brittany's child.
Vic thought about Jake confessing he still felt something for her. She had a bit of lingerie [clearly labeled in large letters "styled for Victoria Love"] under a pillow on his bed. Enter Neal. He pulled the thing out. She pushed it back under the pillow. He said if Jake found out he'd called he'd have to involve her. She asked what he wanted. He said he wanted to know what was in it for him. She said he could have her sister. She'll be up for grabs. Don't worry, you will like her, she's just a watered down version of ME. And when she's 21 she'll be just as rich.
Donna said we all felt sorry for Brittany. She must love Catlin terribly to be pregnant. [Donna, you're so naive.] Liz described the conception in detail. The stables. Liz realized Donna didn't know. Exit Donna.
Jake told Vince he could take care of himself. Vince offered him a job at the restaurant.
Rachel offered Ada money to invest in the restaurant. Ada refused.
Maisie Ada and Vince set out to look at the place. Nancy refused to go.
Catlin and Sally had lunch on the floor of the Matthews living room. Sally said she wanted to believe it was Peter's baby. He asked what if it was his. She didn't want to talk about it. They went upstairs.
Peter called Brittany to check up on her. Britt: so just come home as fast as you can, OK? I love you SO much. More than you know. It was Peter. Donna: I gathered that from your nauseating half of the conversation. Britt: he calls me twice a day, just to make sure I'm OK. Donna told her Peter would be free of her very soon. Brittany said she'd tell Peter she was bugging her. Donna told her she KNEW.
Neal told Nancy he could take care of Vic. She told him Vic had called Jake's boss. He laughed. He was relieved to hear she had no evidence. She told him Jake had hired Catlin.
The place is just below Ada's apartment. Vince wants TV in it. Ada forbids it. They disagree on everything. They returned to Smiley's having made the down payment. Nancy was horrified to hear where the place was. She refused to work there and rushed out.
Catlin and Sally came downstairs. Sally was wearing different clothes. Enter Liz, rather distraught. Exit Catlin. Liz told Sally she [Sally]'d never forgive her [Liz].
Donna told Brittany the where and when. She said she'd tell Peter. She said she'd stand up at the wedding and give Just Cause.
