Amanda phoned Julie Ann. Suddenly relations came out of the woodwork, disturbing her privacy. She waited until Rachel and Ada had left the room before she asked if Sam had called. She did not notice Matthew nursing a drumstick . . .
Cass stopped peeping and tried to look nonchalant when Monique brought him the paper to show him that Rex and Nicole were to wed this afternoon. He's determined to stop it.
Wedding rehearsal. Rex insisted on kissing the bride passionately, although it was not called for. Donna and Felicia stared. Nicole looked misty. Donna tried to be warm to Victoria. Victoria snubbed her.
Cass told Monique she shouldn't let Rex go through with the wedding.
Matthew blackmailed Amanda into promising to buy him a U2 album in return for covering for her while she went to meet Sam. Exit Amanda. Enter Rachel and Ada. They were not taken in by Matthew's feeble suggestions about Amanda's whereabouts. Matthew cracked and told everything he knew. They sent him to change. Rachel told Ada that Sam was Mitch's brother and Mac mustn't know. She said she'd told Amanda but it hadn't made a difference, Amanda was so pig-headed. Ada said Amanda was like Rachel in that respect. Rachel said she would thank her to stop making odious comparisons. She said they would just have to accept them as a couple. Enter Mac. He asked whom they had to accept. Rachel said Cass and Nicole, as if she were guessing. He was bewildered. She rushed him to change.
Sam was thrilled to see Amanda. He had good news. She chased him when he failed to tell her what it was.
Victoria was not happy to find John waiting for Donna at the Love mansion. She left them alone. He told Donna Michael should know before he went to Europe.
Cass tormented Monique about Nicole's resemblance to Rex' dead wife. Enter Rex. Cass was stunned by his resemblance to him. They insulted each other. Rex kissed Monique good-bye. He said he couldn't see her during the honeymoon. She was upset. Cass saw their safe deposit key in its labelled envelope. Rex let himself out. Cass bugged Monique about Rex' reluctance to have her on the honeymoon.
This wedding party is fairly white. Vicky's dress is white. Donna's is a little off. Felicia's is actually pinkish.
Michael brooded in Tops. Barbara Van Arkdale cosied up to him. He would not hear a word against Nicole. She went to meet with That Old Carrot. He apologised for using her against Nicole and asked her to help him again to make Nicole realise she couldn't go against him. She accused him of being unpaternal and turned him down. John came up and told Michael Donna was pregnant. Michael said she hadn't said anything. John told him it was because he hadn't seemed receptive. Michael asked whose baby. John told him that was beneath him. Michael told him he'd taught him the depths to which people could sink. Exit Michael.
Nicole's veil is stupid. Donna lent her a bracelet and went to find something blue. Rex came in to admire Nicole. He suggested they take a stroll.
Cass made Monique nervous. She left. He caught the last two numbers -- 4768 and, having climbed into his tuxedo (in which he had been captured, you see), let himself out.
Amanda treed Sam. He admitted he'd sold his painting for $700. She recognised the buyer's name -- Barington, big art collectors. The gallery wants more. She was thrilled for him. She had to run to Nicole's wedding. (She didn't admit whose and promised to see him tonight.) He climbed to the top of his tree and shouted that he loved her.
Nicole gazed at Rex for a while and reluctantly headed back inside. Monique appeared to beg him to give it up. Nicole saw him chasing her and came to the conclusion he was having an affair. She stomped off.
Cass stole a motorcycle with sidecar. Its owner got upset.
Matthew is obsessed with Crime Story. Amanda raved about love. Mac appeared and asked whom she loved. She told him. He was astonished. She extolled Sam's virtues. Mac had doubts. He said he wanted to get to know him. Amanda said he didn't know she was who she was. Mac advised her to tell him. Amanda decided not to go to the wedding.
Michael found Donna in the chapel. He asked if she was pregnant. She admitted it. He suggested she try telling the truth on the first try. Donna told him the baby couldn't be anyone's but his. He didn't believe her. She asked why he'd bothered to ask. He asked why she hadn't told him. She said she hadn't wanted him to come back for the baby's sake. He assured her nothing would bring him back.
Nicole watched Rex and Monique argue. Rex told Monique he wouldn't let her ruin this for him. They struggled. She fell off a balcony and crashed through some glass.
