Blaine is worried about Clarice and Catlin. Rachel says she's sure Catlin can take care of himself. Clarice is in the same state.
Donna is in a panic because Catlin is gone. She told Perry in front of Carl (rather pointedly calling him our friend). Donna's mortally offended by Sandy and Carl doing business in her house. She was somewhat rude to Sandy. Carl told her off.
Clarice is no longer in critical condition but she is going to be in pain for a great many weeks. Something about her spine. Larry was allowed to see her. He said he's sorry.
Catlin and Sally are both at Larry's. Sally said she wanted to just pretend that nothing is wrong and that they're at home on any old night. Catlin said (a wealth of meaning in his voice) and what would we do on "Any old night" at which point there was a very rustle-y silence.
Donna is mad at Carl. She told him that he should be giving Perry what he seems to be giving Sandy. She mentioned that Sandy used to be some sort of gigolo (which is confirmed by my mother, who remembers well).
Clarice is regaining consciousness. Larry told her what happened. She is in pain. She thinks she's going to die. She wants to see Jeanne and Cory.
Catlin is disparaging Sally's cooking. I don't think she much minds. He says he can cook. She said she'd never had a reason to learn to cook before. She said that they'd both cook and clean up and look after Kevin and something unintelligible which caused her to kiss him. Catlin said "And when will this be" and she took a deep breath and said (can't you see her eyes now) "When you marry me" and he went all peculiar and said it wouldn't work. Sally said it would and they didn't have to accept what was going on. Catlin told her she shouldn't plan and dream (I seem to recall that he was planning and dreaming a fair bit himself a while back but he's reverted to his deep dark pessimism) and she said he was absolutely right they should start to do something. She started marshaling her thoughts and eventually he got sort of interested so they're going to go to Crystal Lake. Sally says everything leads back there.
Larry is upset.
Carter received a scholarship offer from the college he'd hoped for. His friends are thrilled. Grant doesn't know.
Clarice is in pain. Tom's holding her hand.
Grant is thrilled about the scholarship but he wants a better college, although Carter's satisfied. Grant's a jerk.
Nancy is upset.
Larry brought the kids to see Clarice. Cory is somewhat taken aback because (he says) Amanda follows him around. Oo sexy Cory.
Sandy is such a yes man. I'm so sick.
Blaine went to the Corys' for dinner. She said she's tired of feeling awful.
Carl has offered Sandy Peter's spot on the hospital board. How foul.
Sally and Catlin were on their way out when they ran into Larry who let MJ arrest them. Says Catlin (yells Catlin) "Sally too? Why Sally? What did she do?" In the words of the immortal sinister policeman "You just helped a convicted murderer escape, sweetheart." Actually she was running away with one but I felt it would be a good idea to bring that policeman back. He was so sinister it was unfunny.
