ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 24, 1986

"Miss you, baby. I hear you've done real well. But I always said you'd be a success, MJ." MJ left the church.

Adam told Kathleen he was worried about MJ and explained about the letter.

Mary is nervous about Cheryl's party. Vince decided to go upstairs to get Cheryl.

Cheryl was quite shameless. Scott tried to keep a cool head.

Brittany protested. The police read her her rights and told her Peter had sworn out a warrant for her arrest. Brittany insisted Peter was lying to be mean. They relieved her of her baby. Catlin and Sara dashed up. Brittany fell to pieces. They gave Sara the baby. Catlin told her to take him to the Corys'.

Mitch found Matthew and Bob in a cubicle. He attacked Bob (and saved Matthew's life, no doubt.) Bob fled. Matthew thanked him [Mitch]. Mitch gave him what for for being such an idiot. Matthew was thrilled he cared.

Scott advised prudence. Cheryl assured him she knew what she was doing. He told her they had to be responsible and adult. She kissed him. Cass burst in.

Felicia offered her friendship to Mary. Greg dropped by Mary's Place. Nancy avoided him. MJ arrived. Adam expressed concern. MJ put her worries down to prostitute deaths. Adam told Kathleen he thought the letter had upset her. Cheryl and Scott arrived for the party. Kathleen bugged MJ about the letter. MJ ignored her and fled. Adam had to go downtown. He asked Kathleen to keep after MJ. Vince made a speech about Cheryl and wished her happy birthday. Adam very sweetly said goodbye to MJ. She told him not to worry. Mary toasted Cheryl and said she was sorry for the lost years but grateful for the second chance. Maisie comforted Vince.

THE RÔLE OF GOMEZ IS NOW BEING PLAYED BY STEPHANIE MARTINI. [I'm mad. I liked the old one. This one is a conehead.] Gomez and Brandon Reginald plotted against Vince. Victoria and Nicole appeared and reported on Donna's condition. Michael is with her in Chicago. ("She's in another world," said Victoria.) Reginald said he felt dreadful. Nicole was sceptical.

Matthew is an idiot. Mitch told him Mac and Rachel were worried about him. Matthew said he'd run away to make them less mad. He refused to go home.

Brittany was turned over to Adam. He removed the handcuffs for her. He told her she was in big trouble. She insisted she was innocent. Peggy Lazarus arrived.

Nancy was awkward around Greg. He asked what was wrong. Kathleen told Cass about MJ's letter. He snuck up on MJ and tried to find out what was up. She fled. Felicia kept on at Mary to move in with her. Mary surrendered at last. The cake arrived. Happy birthday, dear Cheryl. She said she wanted her parents to be together. Kathleen approved.

Matthew insisted on staying in New York. He has no money; Bob got it. Mitch has $63. But at least they have Chester, Matthew's turtle. Mitch said they had to phone the Corys. Matthew took off.

Peggy showed Brittany Peter's sworn statement. Brittany said it was a lie. She admitted she had no lawyer. Peggy went to see about a public defender. Brittany asked for her one phone call. When Adam turned his back she ducked out. She ran into Felicia and Catlin. They stopped her as Adam rushed into the hall. Felicia assured her Rachel had arranged for McGrath, an impressive attorney. Brittany accused Adam of being afraid of the Loves and fell to pieces fretting about her baby.

MJ advised Cheryl to back off. Cheryl said she wanted to have her picture taken with both of them. Mary and Vince complied. Scott took the photograph.

Matthew hid out in the video arcade. Some guys suggested they play for money but he refused. Mitch came after him and said [for his benefit] he was calling home.

Reginald blustered around saying he would get Donna the best of care. Nicole told him Michael would see to it. She said Jamie was analyzing Donna's capsules. That Old Carrot was extremely shocked to think someone might have purposely harmed Donna. Nicole went to look for clues. Reginald resumed plotting with Gomez.

Mary told Cass and Kathleen she was moving in with Felicia. Cass told her she could sue Reginald. She said she didn't want anything from him. Scott and Cheryl discussed relationships. Greg asked Nancy what was up.

Brittany insisted on talking to Peggy without a lawyer. She said Peter was lying and the Loves were going to use their influence to get her. Peggy said she would get fair treatment (and go to jail regardless of her husband's name.)

Cheryl asked Vince to take a picture of her and Scott. He was uncomfortable. Cheryl flaunted her ring. Mary did her best to keep the peace. MJ was distressed. Kathleen asked about the letter. MJ fled.

Nancy, having been backed into a corner, told Greg she wasn't being fair to him because she could never love him. He pled with her. She broke it off.

Matthew emerged and prevented Mitch from phoning Mac and Rachel. Mitch gave up and said he'd stay with him and see how long they could survive on the $63.

Peggy told Brittany they had a strong case against her. Brittany sobbed.
